2022 Income Tax Filing Info

It is that time of year again! Tax season!
The following forms are available to pick up for free. Other forms can be printed using one of our computers from www.irs.gov.
  • 1040-SR Booklet
  • Instructions
We have 1040/1040-SR paper forms and instructions available for free to our patrons. Our library staff will be more than happy to print a form for you should you prefer. Our normal printing fees will apply.

How do I file for free?

Who can help me with my taxes? 
The Fayetteville Lincoln County Senior Center will be available to help you with your taxes. Tax preparers will be available January 31-April 16. Their hours of operations are:
Monday          9:00-1:00
Wednesday   9:00-1:00
Saturday        9:00-3:00
I am worried about my Credit Report.
Through www.annualcreditreport.com you can get your free credit report through the three national credit reporting agencies. (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion). For more information, check this article at https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0155-free-credit-reports.
