We won't be requiring masks inside building but we do heavily advise you wear them. For your safety, all staff will be wearing masks and gloves. Please follow markings on the floor and social distance while checking out materials.

Only the first floor of the library will be available for use. The genealogy room is open by appointment only by emailing or calling (931) 433-3286. You can still access Ancestry inside the building by going to www.ancestrylibrary.com on any device on our network.
The 2nd floor may be used if masks are worn.
Sanitation supplies including masks (if available) and hand sanitizer available to you at circulation.
Computers will be limited to one hour. If you need more than one hour, please talk to circulation staff to use a laptop.
Test Proctoring will start in limited capacity. To get more info or schedule test proctoring. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also proctor Boat Exams! If you have purchased your type 600 boating safety exam permit. If you have questions or need to setup test proctoring, please email or call us. If you have more questions about Boat safety or testing, head to TWRA website.
We will still be offering curbside service during Phase II, please check below for those directions!
Curbside Service Directons
As we ramp up fully opening to the public and to better protect staff and our patrons, we will start with Curbside service for all patrons, regardless if they have fines on their account or not. Once we feel it is safe for all our patrons, we will then resume in use library facilities with some added protections.
As of now, we do not require patrons to have face masks, it is advisable to wear them inside the building once facility use is reopened. For your protection, all staff will be wearing face masks.
All returned items will be held for 72-hours and sanitized for your protection. This will briefly back up new items, and we thank you for your patience during this process.
For curbside service, follow steps below:
Step one: Item holds
Use our online catalog to find an item available and place it on reserve. (Click catalog at the top of our website)
Staff will pull your request as quickly as they can, however, wait times may be a bit longer than usual. All reserves placed after 5 p.m. will be made available the next business day.
Staff will call you when your items are ready (please be sure the phone number you’d like us to call is on your account).
Step Two: Pickup
Call the library when you are in the parking lot and circulation staff will bring your items the designated area. (A table outside library doors).
Your items will be in a bag with your name on it. Enjoy your library items!
Item Drop off.
When you are ready to drop off your library items you may use the night deposit box. All returned items will be held for 72-hours and cleaned for your protection. This will briefly back up new items, and we thank you for your patience during this process.
We will have limited copy abilities for patrons. Please call a head like the above instructions. A staff member will take copies and receive payment. Your originals and copies will then be brought back out to you. If you need to download copies or if your copies are online, please email email@example.com with your name, phone number, instructions, and date you will be picking them up. Call when you are ready to pick up your copies. At this time, we can only accept cash or checks.

How will I know my items will be ready to be picked up?
You will receive a phone call and/or email when items are ready. While staff will pull items as quickly as they can, wait times may vary due to limited staff.
How do I return materials?
When you are ready to drop off your library items. You can use the night deposit box. All returned items will be held for 48-hours and cleaned for your protection.
If you are unable to return items due to health concerns, please call circulation staff and we will extend all items.
I cannot use the online system; how can I get books?
Call us at 931-433-3286 and staff will gladly help you reserve books.
What materials are available for pickup?
All physical material such as books, DVDs, and audio books.
Can you look up items for me?
Gladly! Even if you do not want to check anything out, we will be glad to answer reference questions and even give book recommendation. You can also reach out to us through email and our Facebook page.
What if I am over my fine limit or checkout limit?
Staff can override fine limits and checkout limit restrictions under certain circumstances. Give us a call and we will work with you.
Am I able to print something from my email?
You can forward what you need to print with instructions to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please add your name and phone number to your email. Staff will print out your documents and call when they are ready to be picked up. Give the library a call when ready to pick up your documents.
